This is how Siri works in macOS Sierra (Video)

This is how Siri works in macOS Sierra to allow controlling a Mac using only voice commands.

5 years after the presentation of Siri, the Apple company finally brought its personal assistant to the Mac, and starting from the fall, the owners of these computers will have the opportunity to use Siri in MacOS Sierra, the video clip below presenting everything it offers.

In macOS Sierra, Siri has almost the same functions as in iOS, that is, it will respond to the same commands and allow you to control a variety of functions of the Mac, including system settings, although the Apple company implemented a different and much more useful interface for such a system.

Specifically, in macOS Sierra Siri is able to search among the files available on users' Macs, or it is combined with Safari and other applications to display information in a new format that allows the extension of functionality based on what developers offer for applications .

Accessing Siri is done using the menu bar, the dock or a command from the keyboard, so for now there is no support for Hey Siri, but I am sure that in the future Apple will allow opening the personal assistant also using a voice command, as it happens in iOS.
