Replacing an AirPods headset costs 69 euros

AirPods were launched last night by the Apple company and the initial stock was sold out in just a few minutes after the opening of online orders for the new product. We are talking about a pair of AirPods headphones for which the company charges a price of 159 dollars, or 179 euros, very high compared to other Bluetooth headphones currently available on the market.

Considering that we are talking about a pair of wireless headphones, a lot of people have asked how much the Apple company will charge for replacing one of the lost headphones. Well, the Apple company announces that it will charge 69 dollars, and probably euros, to replace an AirPods headset lost by the customer, so less than half of the total price of the product.

If you lose the case in which the AirPods can be stored and charged, the Apple company charges a price of 49 dollars, or probably euros, to replace it. This price applies both to the cases that are still in the 1-year warranty period, as well as to those that are out of warranty, so we are talking about a single price charged by the Apple company.

If the AirPods headphones have a battery with reduced autonomy, Apple will replace the headphones, or just the battery, free of charge if it is within the standard warranty period of 1 year. If this period has been exceeded, then Apple will charge a price of 69 dollars for the replacement, the standard price to replace only one of the headsets that those from Cupertino sell.
