Google Maps NEW Features Great Phones

Google Maps has been announced by the company Google two great new features for phones around the world, Google officially announced them last night at the Google I/O conference. The first extremely useful function that Google Maps offers for users around the world allows reading the messages that we have received from various people, but most likely this will only be offered for Android, at first, since iOS is more restrictive.

Google Maps will be able to read these messages while giving us voice guidance to reach the destination we entered in the application, so Google implements serious multitasking for its application. Those from Google did not say what kind of messages will be able to be read by Google Maps, but we are probably talking about SMS and not about notifications that are received through messaging applications such as WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, or the like.

Google Maps has another extremely useful function implemented for users, this one allows sending a text message with the estimated time to reach the location that we entered in the application for guided navigation. This text message will be sent to one of the contacts we have entered in the phones, so Google Maps will start asking for access to the contacts directory, this functionality can also be offered on the iPhone without problems.

"If you're following directions for a route, you can have Maps read your text messages. One of the coolest commands is "share my ETA." Google estimates your arrival time, then sends it as a message"

Google Maps had tested some of these novelties for several months before Google announced them officially for all users, they greatly simplify the way to use the platform in the future. Google Maps is the largest platform with maps and guided navigation, the company Google succeeding in creating a system that performs better than any other, and starting from the summer we will have more functions available for it.
