MacBook Pro 2018: The BIG Problem that ALL Customers Need to Know About

MacBook Pro 2018 BIG Problem Customers Know

MacBook Pro 2018 was launched in July by the company Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC),, and until now it has been completely disassembled to show us what the new laptop model hides inside. What was not discovered inside is a port for extracting data in case the MacBook Pro 2018 breaks down, a similar one being implemented in previous models.

The MacBook Pro 2018 comes with an SSD that is welded to the motherboard and cannot be changed by the user, and this could be a very big problem. The same thing happened with the previous models, only that in their case the logic board had a port that allowed the extraction of data in case the laptop was broken, but the MacBook Pro 2018 does not have such a thing.

MacBook Pro 2018: The BIG Problem that ALL Customers Need to Know About

The MacBook Pro 2018 cannot have the data extracted in the same way as the previous models, if it were to break, Apple employees confirming this. Moreover, they said that at the moment there is no method to recover data from a MacBook Pro 2018 in case the laptop breaks down and cannot be turned on.

"Multiple sources claim that data cannot be recovered if the logic board has failed on a 2018 MacBook Pro. The data recovery port was likely removed because 2018 MacBook Pro models feature Apple's custom T2 chip, which provides hardware encryption for the SSD storage. Apple's internal 2018 MacBook Pro Service Readiness Guide, obtained by MacRumors, advises technicians to encourage customers to back up to Time Machine frequently."

Apple employees should recommend people to make frequent data updates using Time Machine, and if problems occur with the MacBook Pro 2018, they should contact third-party data recovery companies. It's hard for me to believe that Apple can't extract data from a broken MacBook Pro 2018, but anything is possible these days.
