Huawei P40 PRO has revealed the first specifications for the new camera, and this just two weeks before the phone will be officially presented at a conference in Paris, if it will take place. From what has been found so far, the Huawei P40 PRO will have an IMX700 image sensor for the main camera, replacing the IMX600Y used in previous models released by Huawei in the past.
Huawei P40 PRO it will have a main camera with a 52 megapixel image sensor, which of course will be able to take pictures at maximum quality at 13 megapixel resolution, as is now the case with other models. Unlike the previous sensors, the new Huawei P40 PRO camera will use Quad Bayer hexadeca 16 in 1 technology, and with it we should enjoy a much improved quality for the pictures taken.
Huawei P40 PRO: First Specifications for the New Camera
Huawei P40 PRO it will have this main image sensor made by Sony, the same supplier being used even by Apple for their phones, because the Japanese make good cameras. As for the rest of the image sensors, it seems that an ultra-wide one of 40 megapixels will also be used, together with a telephoto one of 3X, plus a second one with optical zoom up to 10X, finally being used a ToF sensor.

Huawei P40 PRO it will have a main camera with 5 integrated image sensors, something we haven't had before for Chinese phones, but we have seen on a Nokia phone in 2018. This combination of image sensors for the Huawei P40 PRO should- It offers total supremacy on the mobile phone market, but of course that also depends on the quality of the pictures the devices will take, no guarantees here.
Huawei P40 PRO it will be presented on March 26 at a conference scheduled to take place in Paris, as I told you, but considering the Coronavirus epidemic, it is possible that it will be cancelled.
