Romanian police published yesterday a very important warning about the Coronavirus that comes from CERT-RO against the backdrop of increased hacker activity due to people looking for more and more information about the virus in China.
Romanian police draws our attention to the post made by CERT-RO, they are trying to make people aware of the situation that is happening now at the international level, hackers trying to steal the information of people who want to be informed, by accessing malicious websites.
Romanian police, through the warning it presents to us, makes the following recommendations:
"At a time when the world is alerted by the COVID-19 pandemic, cybercriminals are trying to profit from the popularity of the topic and the problems generated by the spread of the disease worldwide. Thus, phishing/scam campaigns have started to appear that try to take advantage of the fear of users, who are looking to learn as much as possible about #Coronavirus.”
