Military ordinance 9 it is not announced at this moment by Marcel Vela, the man who leads the Ministry of Internal Affairs, it being replaced by a pact that the ministry makes with the Romanian Patriarchy to announce a number of measures for Easter.

Instead of military ordinance 9, the Minister of the Ministry of Interior announces that the authorities will help citizens to reach the churches for the distribution of Easter, but with a series of conditions in order to have some minimum safety measures for everyone.

The measures brought by this protocol are:

  1. The faithful can go to the church in the immediate vicinity of the residence between 07:00 and 17:00 with a declaration on their own responsibility, mentioning the purpose of the trip and the parish they are going to. All those who go must have a mask and gloves;
  2. On the night of Resurrection, the movement of priests and volunteers is allowed to distribute the Light of Resurrection to the faithful;
  3. The Holy Light can be taken from the police, priests, volunteers who distribute it only to a maximum of 2 people from a block, who will then distribute it to all interested tenants. Wearing masks and gloves is mandatory;
  4. The police crews in the road filters will offer the Holy Light to the traffic participants;
  5. MAI cadres on mission on Easter night will distribute the Holy Light in hospitals and quarantine centers.
