Netflix: OFFICIAL, Surprise RELEASED Now to the WHOLE WORLD

Netflix has officially announced a surprise launched today for all users around the world, here's what we have available for the streaming platform.

Netflix speed

Netflix surprises today with an important release that targets all subscribers around the world, and it's something that no one expected at the moment, but something that comes as very good news. More precisely, those from Netflix launched a new function for playing movies and series through the on-demand video streaming platform, and this although the world did not really put pressure on the company to offer such a new functionality now.

Netflix launched for Android phones the option to watch movies at half the normal speed, or 0.75x, or 1.25x, or 1.5x faster than normal. The new options for playing movies and series from the platform are offered by Netflix, including for content that has been downloaded to phones and tablets by users, so we are not limited only to streaming video viewing, but also offline viewing.

Netflix requires users to manually activate this function for each movie or series for which they want to use it, so it will not remain active automatically for any kind of content. Here, of course, we are talking about an inconvenience, but this is probably how the system was designed to be offered, so we cannot do anything to change this, so we will have to get used to what Netflix offers us right now.

Netflix he tested this function for almost a year, and gathered quite a lot of criticism from Hollywood actors and directors, but in the end he doesn't really care about it. In order not to be criticized even more, Netflix also changes the sound for each playback speed chosen by users, so the experience of viewing the content should be somewhat good enough, within the limits of a change of this kind.

Netflix is launching the function for Android phones in the next few hours, and in the following weeks it will also be extended to the iPhone, and to viewing using computers, and its website.
