The Government of Romania: the new restriction measure discussed

The Romanian government's new restriction measure

The Romanian government is discussing the imposition of a new restriction measure for all of Romania just a few days after a series of new measures aimed at reducing the spread of the new Coronavirus were adopted, and this is related to them, as expected.

The Romanian government is discussing limiting the opening hours of all clubs, bars and terraces throughout the country until 23:00 p.m., and this after only some counties imposed this measure, but more importantly, not those on the coast, where they are the big problems.

The Romanian government now wants to impose this measure at the level of the central public administration, since some authorities do not want to do this alone, and the measure itself is one that could help stop the increase in the daily number of cases of infection with the new Coronavirus.

"It is a discussion, the government decision that modifies annexes 2 and 3 is to come, after which it will be discussed at the CNSU. Here this decision is taken, the CNSU decision is taken. There are some county committees that have already given this decision, but the final decision is at the CNSU level.

This does not refer only to the coast, but to several areas, because if we are to take the reality, the increase in the number of cases, on the national level, is not only due to the coast. It is clear that in some areas the situation is not respected, and there the spread is in the community, and then measures must be taken there as well." said Raed Arafat in an interview for DIGI 24.
