Romania can vaccinate 115.000 people daily against the Coronavirus, according to the president of CNCAV, Valeriu Gheorghita, he made the statement during a press conference held yesterday, and also yesterday we had a new record of vaccinations in our country.
There were not 115.000, as is the total capacity for the whole country, but it seems that the authorities want to keep their word and vaccinate at least 5 million people by June, a perfectly achievable goal if 100.000 vaccinations are reached in every day.
"I remind you that, starting next week, 61 new offices will be added, which will receive vaccine from Moderna, so that the number of people who will be vaccinated with this type of vaccine and AstraZeneca vaccination centers will increase, 272 with 374 flows, more than 31.980 people can be vaccinated at maximum capacity.
As the prime minister announced today, at the moment in the existing vaccination centers, we have a maximum vaccination capacity of 115.000 people per day, assuming that all available places would be occupied."
