The Ministry of Health, through Minister Ioana Mihaila, provided some information regarding the moment when the 4th wave of the Coronavirus should start in Romania, and as you already knew, the end of August, the beginning of September being the period that is being talked about again .
The Ministry of Health says that based on what has already been seen in many other countries in Europe, it is expected that at the end of August the delta variant of the Coronavirus will become dominant in Romania, so that then we should also see an increased number of new cases.
"Scientists say that at the end of August, the Delta strain will become dominant in Europe, we expect the same thing to happen in Romania. From what we see has happened in other countries - a marked increase in the number of cases, mostly with the Delta strain - we can expect this to happen in Romania as well."
