A new large number of new cases of Coronavirus was reported on August 16, 2021 by the authorities in Romania, and as you can see we are talking about an increase in the intensity of the pandemic in our country, something that unfortunately is not a big surprise.
The pressure in hospitals is also increasing during this period, and this is because the Delta version of the Coronavirus infects more and more people, the number of admissions increasing during this period, including in the case of intensive care units.
The vaccination campaign has exceeded the milestone of 5 million Romanians immunized against the Coronavirus, and the numbers are increasing, but very slowly, unfortunately, and this is because Romanians still avoid being immunized, but maybe the new wave of infections will change that.
