Ministry of Health Prizes Offered at the Vaccination Lottery

The Ministry of Health announced more than a week ago that it will organize a vaccination lottery for people who have been immunized against the Coronavirus up to now, but also from now on, and below you can see all the details of this process thought by authority.

"Cseke Attila, the interim Minister of Health, signed this afternoon the Joint Order of the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Economy, Entrepreneurship and Tourism regarding the conditions for registration in the Vaccination Lottery and establishing the duties of the institutions involved.

According to the document, the Vaccination Lottery consists of drawing for the award of cash prizes all vaccinated persons with the complete vaccination schedule, who have generated their EU digital certificate of
COVID-19 based on the CNP and who register to participate in the application accessed from the website https://certificat-covid.gov.ro.

"In this epidemiological context, with significant increases in the number of people infected with the new coronavirus, it is particularly important to support the vaccination process, including by providing rewards. In a short period of time, we managed to finalize the legislative framework for these compensatory measures. Once signed by the Minister of Economy, the normative act can be published in the Official Gazette, so that it produces effects", said Cseke Attila, the interim Minister of Health.

The Vaccination Lottery will take place between 01.10.2021 and 31.12.2021 and consists of 19 draws organized on Sundays/Fridays, during 14 weeks, as follows:
· 14 draws, respectively 1 draw per week
· 3 draws, respectively 1 draw each month
· 2 draws organized in week 14, respectively in the last week of the action.

At the Vaccination Lottery, a total number of 1.139 prizes are awarded, with a total value of 15.000.000 lei, as follows:
– 81 weekly prizes (80 weekly prizes worth 10 lei + 000 big weekly prize worth 1 lei);
– 3 monthly prizes, (1 prize each in the last week of each month in the amount of 100 lei);
– 2 prizes at the end of the National Vaccination Program Lottery, worth 500 lei, respectively 000 lei.

Each participant in the Vaccination Lottery will have 4 chances to win, namely the possibility of winning 4 prizes: 1 prize worth 10.000 lei or 100.000 lei, 1 prize worth 300.000 lei, 1 prize worth 500.000 lei and the highest prize worth of 1.000.000 lei, i.e. prizes with a maximum cumulative value of 1.910.000 lei.

The amounts transferred to the National Company «Loteria Română» — SA, necessary to ensure the prize fund for the vaccination Lottery, will be provided by the Ministry of Economy, Entrepreneurship and Tourism."
