The number of vaccinations continues to decrease in Romania in December, and this in the conditions where we are talking about only 32.703 people vaccinated throughout the country in the last day, and only about 6.312 people immunized with the first dose, numbers as low as in the days of summer.
The extremely small number of vaccinations will give the Omicron variant of the Coronavirus the chance to generate an explosion of infections at the beginning of next year, and considering the data we keep seeing now, it is not excluded that the 5th wave will be even stronger than the 4th wave .
