ENGIE has issued a series of last-minute information regarding the invoices of customers from all over Romania, and this is because we are talking about many Romanians who benefit from the supply of electricity and natural gas at this moment in our country, and they need to know what what happens with the bills.

ENGIE talks below about the people who are eligible to receive energy cards from the Romanian state, and to be able to compensate 1.400 LEI from energy bills during this year, there are a series of regulations regarding the income limits based on which these energy cards are issued now.

According to those from ENGIE Romania, the vulnerable customers who benefit from these energy cards are limited to people who have incomes lower than 2.000 LEI, regardless of whether it is a pension, or another type of social or salary income, millions of people having to receive these cards.

ENGIE Romania will not distribute these energy cards, the Romanian Post taking care of this, but the energy company will receive them to compensate part of the bills that Romanians receive during the following months, until the end of 2023, if the measure will not be extended in 2024.

To be eligible for the energy card, you must fall into one of the following categories: Pensioners aged 60 or over, with an income of less than or equal to 2.000 lei; Disability pensioners, regardless of age, with an income less than or equal to 2.000 lei.

People with severe, severe or moderate disabilities, with an income less than or equal to 2.000 lei; Families with support allowance, regardless of income; families/persons who benefit from social assistance, regardless of income. The net income of each cohabitant of a place of consumption must not exceed 2.000 lei.
