Multi posesori de smartphone-uri ar dori sa aiba posibilitatea de a conecta un proiector la propriul terminal si acest lucru poate deveni posibil multumita unei universitati din Calgary, Canada. In clipul video de mai sus avem demonstratia unui sistem de proiectare virtuala care in esenta ne permite sa proiectam imagini de pe ecranul unui smartphone pe ecranul unui PC intr-un mod complet nou. Spre deosebire de un proiector sistemul celor din Calgary functioneaza diferit si permite utilizatorului sa controleze in totalitate modul in care este proiectata imaginea dar sa si adauge alte imagini proiectate pe ecran.
Portable projectors in mobile devices provide a promising way to overcome screen-space limitations on handhelds, navigate information, or augment reality. One of their appeals is the simplicity of interaction: Aiming at an appropriate surface projects the image, and changing posture and direction adjusts the image’s position and orientation.
