Google Earth este o aplicatie dezvoltata de catre Google care ne permite sa vizualizam imagini din aproape orice locatie de pe glob, aceste imagini fiind preluate din Street View si din sistemul care afiseaza hartile Satellite pentru Google Maps. Aplicatia a fost lansata acum mai bine de un an de zile in App Store, insa a fost disponibila exclusiv in magazinul american, dar incepand de astazi ea poate fi descarcata inclusiv din App Store Romania. Aplicatia ne ofera posibilitatea de a vizualiza harti 3D ale locatiilor importante de pe glob, gesturile fiind utilizate pentru a naviga printre ele, experienta de utilizare fiind una deosebita.

With new 3D imagery, you can now fly through complete 3D recreations of select cities, including San Francisco, Boston, Rome, and others. With every building modeled in 3D, you truly get a sense of flying above the city. 3D imagery is available on iPhone 4S and iPad 2 or later.
Google Earth este disponibila gratuit in App Store, insa imaginile 3D pot fi vizualizate numai de catre utilizatorii care detin tablete iPad 2 sau mai noi, ori terminale iPhone 4S sau mai noi.
