iPhone 5S si iPhone 5C – iata ce probleme fizice vor fi reparate gratuit de catre Apple in garantie

  Dupa cum probabil stiti deja, Apple are reguli foarte stricte in ceea ce priveste acordarea garantiei pentru iDevice-uri, iar daca vorbim despre probleme de natura fizica, in general compania alege sa refuze acordarea garantiei pentru terminalele utilizatorilor. Desi informatiile de acest gen nu ajunga in general la ochii publicului larg, un website din Marea Britanie a reusit sa obtina un document de acest gen si detaliaza problemele fizice pe care Apple le va repara fara discutii. Pentru iPhone 5S si iPhone 5 compania va schimba: terminale care au praf sau alt tip de mizerie sub ecran; terminalele care au pixeli morti sau care sunt afisati intr-un mod anormal; terminalele care au carcasele usor indoite dar nu au ecranul crapat si puncte vizible de impact; terminale care au o singura crapatura foarte fina pe ecran sau sticla carcasei.

The issues covered by the warranty, according to the document, include debris under the display glass or pixel anomaly, a bent enclosure for the iPhone 5S or iPhone 5 where there is no cracked glass or visible points of impact, or a single hairline crack to the front glass or back inlay (the bits at the top and bottom of the aluminium rear).

  In ceea ce priveste probleme fizice care nu sunt acoperite de catre garantie, vorbim despre: lichid intrat in interiorul carcasei, urme de coroziune interna; crapaturi ale ecranului sau sticlei prezenta pe marginile carcasei; rupturi ale LCD-ului pozitionat sub panoul frontal de sticla; conectori Lightning loviti; zgarieturi extreme ale partilor metalice, gauri in butoane/partile metalice sau butoane disparute; parti metalice crapate, lovituri ale portului audio sau ale portului Lightning; indoirea structurii metalice ale iPhone 5; unitati dezasamblate; unitati cu alte componente decat cele originale; terminale distruse si cred ca este de ajuns.

Problems not covered include liquid damage confirmed by the user, evidence of internal corrosion, any chips or fractures in the glass, LCD display fractures under the glass, or a damaged Lightning connector. Also not included in the warranty are extreme abrasions, puncture holes or missing or damaged buttons. Split enclosures and audio jack damage where the hole is plugged with foreign material are also a no-no. Strangely a bent enclosure on an iPhone 5C is not eligible for service under the warranty even though the same fault on a 5S or 5 is.

Those issues completely ineligible for service are fairly obvious: a disassembled unit or one with missing parts, a phone with counterfeit or mismatched third-party parts, or a phone that has suffered catastrophic damage. In car terms it would be called a “write-off”.
