PeakFinder Earth este aplicatia recomandata de catre compania Apple pentru posesorii de tablete iPad si desi numele nu ii spune, ea ne permite sa exploram muntii din lumea intrega direct de pe propria tableta iPad. Aplicatia are disponibile pentru noi o multitudine de harti panoramice la 360 de grade cu imagini ale celor mai faimosi munti de pe glob, dar nu doar atat.

Separat aplicatia permite localirea pe harta a varfurilor muntilot folosind coordonate GPS, permite vizualizarea imaginilor printr-un efect similar celui generat de catre vizualizarea de imagini folosind un binoclu si multe, multe altele. PeakFinder Earth este disponibila pentru DESCARCARE in format universal in App Store, ea fiind actualizata saptamanal de catre dezvoltatorii care au lansat-o in magazin.
