Cifra este surprinzatoare avand in vedere ca foarte multi au afirmat ca iPhone 6S si iPhone 6S Plus nu vor depasi in vanzari iPhone 6 si iPhone 6 Plus, ele fiind vandute in 10 milioane de unitati in weekend-ul lansarii din cursul anului trecut, un record pentru acel moment al existentei Apple.

Sales completed by Saturday, September 26 will be included in Apple’s 2015 fourth fiscal quarter results, and sales completed on Sunday, September 27 will be included in Apple’s 2016 first fiscal quarter results.
