I told you a few tens of minutes ago that Google is going to launch a new version of Google Earth which will provide 3D maps for users and the application is now available in the App Store. The new 3D maps module only covers cities outside of Romania and can only be used on iPhone 4S, iPad 2 and iPad 3, and below is the changelog of the application:
- Tour guide: Explore places you never thought to search for with new tours of your favorite cities, historic landmarks and natural wonders.
- 3D imagery: Take flight above entire cities in 3D. Get started with Los Angeles, Boston, San Francisco, Geneva or Rome and look for new additions in the coming weeks. Available for iPhone 4S and iPad 2 or later.
Google Earth for iOS is not available in the Romanian App Store, but you can download it from the US App Store following this link.
