Apple and Nokia could give up the collaboration with Samsung

I knew for several months that Apple is considering a possible termination of contractual relations with Samsung, but now we find out that the managers of the Nokia company are thinking of taking a similar measure. It seems that Samsung has a habit of "borrowing" ideas from Nokia, not just from Apple, and the Finns are thinking very seriously of taking their source of inspiration. Samsung sometimes receives orders for new components to be used in innovative smartphones, those orders are canceled, but some of the components are used by them in their own devices.

"The 'firewall' between component sales and smartphones [at Samsung]," individually familiar with Nokia's component orders from Samsung states, is "about as sturdy as a pile of kimchi." The individual stated that Samsung has "a record of getting orders for next-gen components, then canceling the orders. And then they show up in a Samsung phone. When you see a Samsung 'bendy' OLED phone as you surely will, you are looking at something that was stolen from Nokia."

The problem is that the divisions that produce smartphones and components do not keep projects/customers confidential, so from the components division to the smartphone division details about the plans of Samsung's competitors. Based on this information, smartphones capable of seriously competing with those available on the market are prepared, and thus Samsung gets an advantage, perhaps unfairly, in front of its direct competitors. This method of doing business has already affected Samsung's credibility, and in the long run it may cost it a lot of money.
