Tim Cook will launch a special program to equip American schools with Macs

Tim Cook educational program schoolsDuring this day, one of the most famous American morning shows, Good Morning America, is going to broadcast an exclusive interview given by Tim Cook for the announcement of the launch of an international American program in the USA aimed at equipping American schools with Macs.

In the image above you can see him Tim Cook talking to Robin Roberts, the "host" of the American show, where he presented in detail his company's plan to bring Macs to more American schools in the coming months.

Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), participated in an American program called ConnectED and helped equip 114 American schools with Macs for computer labs, but this new program is much more ambitious and is designed to bring the products of those from Cupertino to many more schools.

Last year, Apple contributed 100 million dollars in subsidies to equip schools with Macs, and now the amount will probably be higher, because this project is announced to be much more ambitious than the one carried out by the White House, so it remains to be seen what Cook will announce.

Apple has been involved for a very long time in supporting the educational environment and has always had subsidies granted to students or schools, so this move is part of a long strategy to support the evolution of education in the US.
