Ministry of Health: FREE Testing Against Coronavirus in Pharmacies!

Ministry of Health FREE Testing Against Coronavirus in Pharmacies!

The Ministry of Health announces to Romanians from all over the country that they will be able to test themselves for free against the Coronavirus in approved pharmacies all over the country, so that they will no longer have to go to hospitals to benefit from a possible diagnosis, but a visit to a pharmacy will be sufficient.

"Covid testing with free rapid antigen tests in pharmacies - a project of the Ministry of Health.
If you have symptoms specific to SARS-COV2 infection, you can also get tested at the pharmacy. The Ministry of Health continues to expand this program and allocates free tests in approved pharmacies.
At the moment we have 106 locations throughout the country (19 counties) where you can already get tested, and in the next period we want the list to include other points of the pharmaceutical networks in Romania. In this way, we increase access to testing and make this process easier for all Romanians.
These are the counties where we have the most pharmacies that do rapid antigen tests:
Prahova (19 locations)
Cluj (13 locations)
Bucharest (12 locations)
Constanta (10 locations)
Iasi (10 locations)
Rapid antigen tests are made available to pharmacies, FREE of charge, through the Departments of Public Health, and pharmacies may charge a fee for this service.
IMPORTANT!
If you are not vaccinated, know that after the test the pharmacy will send your data to the CoronaForms system and in this way you can download your digital certificate from the certificate-covid.gov.ro platform. The document, after rapid testing, has a validity of 48 hours."
