Aplicatia Twitter pentru iDevices a fost actualizata de curand, versiunea 3.3 fiind disponibila in AppStore cu foarte multe schimbari. Prima care va “sari” in ochii utilizatorilor are legatura cu afisarea topicurilor care sunt “in trend” pe Twitter, adica acele cuvinte cu # in fata lor numite hashtag-uri. Prin aceasta noua functie Twitter promoveaza in primul rand hashtag-urile achizitionate de diverse firme dar si restul celor folosite cel mai des in ultima zi. O noua functie importanta legata tot de hashtag-uri se refera la posibiltiatea de a vedea topicuri trending in care discuta persoane aflate in apropierea voastra. Pentru asta trebuie sa dati voie aplicatiei sa foloseasca GPS-ul integrat si sa va afiseze locatia pe Twitter.

- Trends based on your location
- Cleaner, redesigned Tweet compose screen.
- Automatically shortens URLs. Just paste them in and they will only count as 20 characters, no matter how long they are!
