Cei de la SlashGear au facut un video test in care demonstreaza cum poate fi inchis ecranul unui MacBook Air sau un MacBook Pro folosind un simplu magnet de figider. Daca plimbati acel magnet pe langa mufa audio a MacBook-ului vostru ecranul se va inchide instant si impreuna cu el se va inchide si conexiunea Wi-Fi. Pentru a il reporni trebuie sa folositi tastatura si totul revine la normal fara nici o resetare fara nimic. Interesant este ca husa SmartCover are exact aceleasi efect asupra tabletei iPad 2 cand ecranul este acoperit insa acolo se vorbeste(fara cunostinte concrete) despre o functionalitate implementata printr-un senzor de proximitate.
