Although until now such problems have not been discovered by the developers, it seems that the App Store has recently affected the applications recently updated and published in it, causing problems with the running of certain applications. The developer of the Instapaper application discovered that the new version of its application does not work properly if it was downloaded from the App Store USA, Great Britain or from other parts of the world, but not all users who downloaded it report problems. It seems that in certain areas of the globe the App Store modifies the applications updated and published in it, generating errors when opening/running some applications, errors about which no one knows anything yet.
This problem affects not only Instapaper but also applications such as Angry Birds, Goodreader, Flick Soccer or Readdle Scanner Pro, so we are talking about important applications that generate a lot of attention. For now, Apple has not made any kind of comment regarding the possible causes of this problem, but those from Goodreader details here a rather complicated method to solve the problem. If you have recently downloaded an update for an application and it closes out of the blue or has other functionality problems, then you should know that the problem is with the App Store and not with the application.
Apple will most likely solve this problem and when everything is back to normal I will let you know.
