The Government of Romania Extends the State of Alert for another 30 Days

The Romanian government has decided, through the CNSU, to extend the state of alert in Romania for another period of 30 days starting on July 12, even if now the pandemic situation in our country is very good, but a serious worsening is expected in the fall of the situation.

The Romanian government wants to protect Romanians against the problems that may arise due to the Delta variant that is now circulating in various areas of Europe, so the state of alert will be extended for another 30 days starting on July 12.

"Art.1 - It is proposed to extend the state of alert throughout the national territory,
for a period of 30 days, starting from 12.07.2021.
Art.2 – Measures to prevent and control infections caused by the SARSCoV-2 virus, proposed to be adopted starting from 12.07.2021, in the context
current epidemiological, are provided in the annex to this decision.

Art.3 – The measures proposed in this decision produce effects only in the situation
their approval by normative acts of the Government or, as the case may be, of the leaders
ministries or central public administration bodies.
Art.4 – This decision is communicated to all System components
