Coronavirus: Romania Sold 1.17 Million Doses of Vaccine

Coronavirus Romania Sold 1.17 Million Doses of Vaccine

Romania has sold 1.17 million doses of the vaccine against the Coronavirus so far, all to Denmark, but we also donated over 500.000 doses to the Republic of Moldova, 100.800 to Ukraine, 30.000 to Argentina and another 50.400 to Serbia.

Romania therefore parted with approximately 1.8 million doses of vaccine that could immunize over 1 million people, and the decisions were taken because Romanians refused to be vaccinated and the doses risked spoiling waiting in freezers to be used.

"Until now, Romania has sold 1.170.000 doses of vaccine, donated several doses and has several such initiatives underway which, as soon as they are completed, will be announced. So, as I said, for Denmark - 1.170.000 vaccine doses that were sold, after which we have for the Republic of Moldova, over half a million doses, and the same for Ukraine - 100.800, for Argentina - 30.000 doses and Serbia – 50.400. These are the agreements completed so far."
