The Government of Romania Delta Variant Spreads the Country

The Romanian government, through the INSP, has published new information about the Delta variant, which is spreading faster and faster in Romania, generating many confirmed cases, but also quite a few deaths from the total number of cases confirmed so far.

sequencing is vaccination, so that the proportion of vaccinated cases out of the total number of confirmed cases with the Delta variant does not reflect the situation in the general population, but in a selected group. The range between the date of completion of full vaccination and the date of sample collection was 11–175 days, with a mean of 100 days and a median of 101 days.
