The Romanian Post issued a very important announcement regarding the shipments that Romanians are currently waiting for from anywhere outside Europe, and this is because only those with a value greater than 150 euros fall into the category of those that can benefit from commission customs
"Given the legislative changes that occurred on July 1, 2021 and the automated processing by the Romanian Post of postal items with a low value (under 150 euros), we specify that the customs brokerage service is only available in the case of non-EU postal items with a value greater than 150 euros addressed to natural persons, in the case of import-export postal items made by legal entities, as well as in the case of postal items with a value of less than 150 euros selected for risk analysis by the customs authority. Consequently, the powers granted to the Romanian Post are used exclusively in the cases mentioned above."
