Steve Jobs vorbind in termeni duri despre Bill Gates si tatal sau biologic

He’d be a broader guy if he had dropped acid once or gone off to an ashram when he was younger. Bill is basically unimaginative and has never invented anything, which is why I think he’s more comfortable now in philanthropy than technology. He just shamelessly ripped off other people’s ideas.

     Si Gates despre Jobs:

He really never knew much about technology, but he had an amazing instinct for what works.

Totusi Bill Gates nu este singurul personaj atacat de catre Steve Jobs in biografia sa deoarece fostul CEO al Apple are cateva cuvinte dure si pentru tatal sau biologic. Se pare ca Jobs a vizitat de cateva ori restaurantul detinut de catre tatal sau, insa in acele momente nu stia cine este persoana din fata sa dar spunea ca nu are incredere in ea. Intr-un final a aflat ca in acel restaurant s-a intalnit pentru prima oara cu tatal dar pana in ziua mortii nu i-a spus acestuia ca acea intalnire a fost una intre tata si fiu.

I had been to that restaurant [That his biological father had owned] a few times, and I remember meeting the owner. He was Syrian. Balding. We shook hands.” Later Steve said, ” “I was a wealthy man by then, and I didn’t trust him not to try to blackmail me or go to the press about it.

When I was looking for my biological mother, obviously, you know, I was looking for my biological father at the same time, and I learned a little bit about him and I didn’t like what I learned. I asked her to not tell him that we ever met…not tell him anything about me.
