Orange 4G Tour – the 4G truck helps you test the high-speed 4G network in Bucharest and Valea Prahova

Today Orange Romania started a very interesting initiative, called Orange 4G Tour, offering all Bucharest residents, and not only, the opportunity to test the technology 4G in a truck located in the car park in Victoria Square. The Orange truck has an extremely interesting design, you'll definitely recognize it if you're in the area, but what's in it is just as interesting. Orange has prepared for visitors a history of the evolution of mobile phones, which is unfortunately missing iPhone-ul, an area where 4G internet can be tested on mobile terminals and a laptop, an area where a hologram shows one of the bands promoted by Orange, and at the end there are two monitors showing the applications Info Ski si I Rewind.

The 4G truck, as I like to call it, of those from Orange will be present, between January 10 and February 23, in 7 locations in the country, of course I'm talking about Bucharest and Valea Prahova. The initiative of those from Orange has the role of promoting the launch of the 4G network at the end of last year, but also of bringing to the attention of consumers the Info Ski and i-Rewind applications, which we have already told you about in two separate articles. At the moment, Orange only covers a good part of Bucharest and Valea Prahova with a 4G data network, and the network will be expanded as the government releases the licenses that Orange has already purchased.

Finally, I will tell you that in the truck you will also find an area with some graffiti creations by local artists, the application Orange Explorer allowing you to transform QR codes into animations, and although the application will only be updated next week, until then you can use the terminals in the truck to view the creations. Below are the locations where you will find the truck in the next period, and I recommend you to visit it because it is worth seeing and testing the 4G internet, which I have also tested and which I will talk about in a future article.

Bucharest, January 10, 2013. As a result of the launch of the 4G mobile internet service in Romania, Orange invites its customers and not only to a new space, the Orange 4G tour, to discover the advantages of the latest mobile technology.
