The Romanian government announced today a very important decision it will take in the context of the Corona virus pandemic, the authorities are going to extend the state of alert during the next week, before the current one expires, and cancel all the protection measures imposed.

The Romanian government says that within this decision to extend the state of alert, measures aimed at organizing local elections will be introduced, so we are talking about a very important decision, which will have a big impact on an even greater number of Romanians.

"If we do not have the approval of the Legislative Council, we will not be able to adopt today. This means that we will have to hold the National Committee for Emergency Situations and the Government meeting on Monday, so that we can adopt the extension of the state of alert.
