The Romanian government says that there are large discrepancies between the counties in the country in terms of the vaccination rate, this raises big questions about the achievement of some vaccination objectives promoted so far by the authorities.
The Romanian government wants to increase the vaccination rate, especially in the counties in the north-east of the country, where there are the lowest vaccination rates in all of Romania, and all so that in the fall we do not see a new wave of infections with the new Coronavirus.
"At the same time, I drew attention to the fact that there are too big differences between counties when we talk about the vaccination rate. The counties in the south of Romania and those in the north-east must do more. We insisted on opening as many vaccination centers as possible in airports and border points, especially centers with Johnson&Johnson vaccine, for Romanians who enter or leave the country and choose to be vaccinated with a dose. And we come up with more solutions, especially for rural areas."
