The Romanian government says that the use of COVID certificates in Romania is not a discriminatory measure, the prime minister made this statement in an interview given to the public television channel TVR 1 last evening, but the message itself is not exactly new.
The Romanian government said, through the voice of the prime minister or other ministers, that a measure of this kind would not be discriminatory, its purpose now being to keep the economy functioning while the 4th wave of the Coronavirus pandemic is spreading non-stop throughout the country.
"The green certificate is a handy tool and we can all use it. We can take that QR code on the phone, as an application, which can be read very quickly, and that's why we went with this option. It could have been any other option, but it was the most handy at the moment, if better options come along we'll use those.
I say it's a good measure, it doesn't discriminate, it's a measure that allows economic activities to continue."
