Government of Romania: announcement about the return to the state of emergency

The Romanian government has an extremely difficult month ahead, with the resumption of school and the organization of local elections, but there is still a very big question that has remained in the minds of many Romanians, more precisely the return to the state of emergency if the number of new cases of Coronavirus will increase too a lot.

The Romanian government is not considering a return to the state of emergency, Prime Minister Ludovic Orban confirming this for everyone, saying that there is no scenario currently under discussion that foresees a return to the state of emergency for our country, so you can stay calm down

"There is no such scenario, as you can see, for five weeks we stopped the increase in the number of infections, and for two weeks we even had a slight tendency to decrease the number of cases. Of course, the decrease is not as we would like, but the situation is under control, we have limited the spread of the virus, the treatment capacity is not exceeded, all the structures of the health system have the possibility and are coping with the situation in which we find ourselves. These assumptions do not exist," said Orban, when asked if there is a possibility that Romania will return to the state of emergency and lockdown."
