Government of Romania: Message for Romanians Regarding Vaccination

Government of Romania Message for Romanians Regarding Vaccination

The Romanian government insists on asking the Romanians to get vaccinated, because that's the only way we can return to normality, but even convincing those close to them to do it is a request that comes through official channels, and that's because otherwise it's impossible to return to normality to which we wish.

"Today I went to two vaccination centers in Suceava county and I was happy to see people eager to immunize themselves against COVID-19 and thus contribute to the return to normality. Each of the 3,8 million people vaccinated to date is another step towards the joy of resuming our life before the pandemic and protecting our health and that of our loved ones. If each of us who have been vaccinated convinces at least one relative, friend, acquaintance, we will be even closer to defeating the killer virus.
I sent this message to Suceava and I will continue to send it in all the visits I will make to the country to support the vaccination campaign, convinced that this is the solution to move to the next stage: strengthening the economy.
Today's discussions in Gura Humorului with the HoReCa representatives, like all the consultations with the business environment, are precisely to prepare the economic measures for the next period. Things are looking good in the Romanian economy: investments, income and purchasing power are increasing and we are expecting important financial resources: 29,2 billion euros from PNRR, 46 billion euros of European funds, plus the state budget, every year.
Therefore, we have all the conditions for, in the next four years, to substantially increase the economy and the number of jobs, to build highways, hospitals, things that have not been done in the last 30 years."
