Romanian Government: Last Minute Decision regarding Great Britain

The Romanian government has officially announced a last-minute decision for all Romanians returning to the country from Great Britain, the country being re-included in the red zone, so that anyone entering the country will have to stay in quarantine for 14 days, with some exceptions though presented in decisions 35 of the CNSU.

"Considering the proposals of the National Institute of Public Health regarding the transition of Great Britain from the yellow zone to the red zone due to the registration of a rapid increase in infections due to some virus variants, especially with the B.1.617.2 variant, the introduction of distinct provisions regarding the quarantine measure applicable to foreign citizens and stateless persons arriving in Romania from third countries, as well as the exemption from the quarantine measure for persons who have been positively confirmed for infection with the SARS-CoV-2 virus in the last 90 days prior to contact direct."
