Government of Romania: State of Alert Extended until September 2021

The Romanian government is on extended alert until September 2021

The Government of Romania announced today the adoption of a new decision by which the state of alert in our country was extended until September, as was expected since the number of new cases of Coronavirus is starting to increase again.

The Romanian government did not apply any new relaxations as part of this decision, nor did it impose any new restrictions, so everything remains the same as until now, Romanians having to comply with the same rules that were established as being in force starting from from August 1.

The Romanian government could announce new relaxations only on September 1st, but it is unlikely that this will happen since the number of new cases of Coronavirus is increasing during this period along with the pressure that hospitals feel.
