Government of Romania: announcement regarding the reopening of restaurants

The Romanian government reopens coronavirus restaurants

The Romanian government is under a lot of pressure due to the fact that the restaurants have closed their activity inside, but the Prime Minister, Ludovic Orban, came today with new information regarding this situation, especially since the questions do not stop appearing.

The Romanian government will allow the reopening of restaurants when the epidemiological situation allows it, that is, when the Romanians will respect the rules, so maybe next year, since too few respect them, and the vast majority do not, and the restaurants suffer.

The Romanian government has allowed the resumption of activity in many areas of the industry in recent months, but if the Romanians do not want to respect the rules for the restaurants to be reopened, the authorities cannot do much, and restaurant patrons, including terraces, should pray first to the Romanians, then to the government.

"In a relatively short period of time, we allowed the resumption of activity for hotels, we allowed the resumption of spa tourism activity, we allowed the activities on the terraces to resume. The only field in HORECA that is still under restriction is the field of closed space restaurants.

As soon as we have a better epidemiological situation, we will take the decision to allow the resumption of activity for restaurants in closed spaces. It's not a matter of ill-will, always when you're in such situations you have to choose between people's health and certain sacrifices that certain companies have to make."
