Daca aveti o tableta iPad si sunteti un fan al celebrului RPG Baldur’s Gate atunci am pentru voi vesti bune deoarece compania dezvoltatoare a titlului lucreaza deja la o versiune special facuta pentru tableta iPad. Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition este numele titlului si el va fi disponibil in viitorul apropiat pe tableta iPad dar deocamdata cei de la IGN au avut ocazia de a il testa si au ramas placut surprinsi de ce au gasit. Desigur ca jocul nu este inca pregatit pentru lansarea in App Store dar potential exista si cei de la IGN spun ca titlul va fi unul foarte interesant.
I had the opportunity to go hands-on with an early build of Baldur’s Gate iPad, and my initial impressions leave me optimistic about the potential of this huge port. For now, Overhaul is primarily demonstrating that this is indeed Baldur’s Gate, running on an iPad. It exists, it runs smoothly, and as a company representative put it, “the technical issues are behind us.” What hasn’t yet been changed is the interface. With the PC version’s tiny buttons, very small dialogue selections and incredibly complex menus displayed on an iPad, right now it’s tough to effectively play with a touch interface. Overhaul has promised that revised, touch-friendly menus are in the works.
Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition este o versiune inferioara jocului Baldur’s Gate II deci nu va asteptati sa gasiti acelasi continut pentru ca veti fi dezamagiti insa veti avea parte de o experienta interesanta pe tableta voastra. Daca si Blizzard va terminal World of Warcraft pentru iPad atunci dispozitivul celor de la Apple va avea cateva titluri extrem de interesante pentru utilizatori.
