iOS 4.0.2 blocks the jailbreak but not the decoding

Apple has released last night iOS 4.0.2 to block the vulnerability used in the jailbreak solution from jailbreakme.com, practically this being the only reason why Apple released this new version of iOS. Even if Apple blocked the jailbreak, still the baseband was not updated, so ultrasn0w can be used for decoding, but if we can't jailbreak then we can't do decoding either, so they didn't update the baseband for nothing.

Before you get too excited, will you I remember that in September Apple will release iOS 4.1 and with it will come a new baseband, so decoding will be blocked again for a good period of time. If you buy a terminal with iOS 4.0.2 or you haven't saved SHSHs for iOS 4.0/4.0.1 then you have no way to jailbreak until a new jailbreak solution appears, and a new solution will definitely be available only after release of iOS 4.1.
