Those from Engadget they got their hands on an iPod Touch 4 at last night's conference and managed to make a hands-on video for us. My first impression was that the iPod Touch 4G is very, very thin, even thinner than the iPhone 4. From a hardware point of view, the 2 terminals are almost identical, only that the iPod Touch 4G does not have a GSM chip (so you cannot call from el), it does not have a GPS chip and the rear camera is not as good as the one in the iPhone 4. The camera installed in the iPhone 4 has 5 megapixels, films HD and takes pictures at a resolution of 2592×1936, but the camera on the iPod Touch 4G is weaker because it takes pictures at a resolution of only 960×720, but it has the ability to film in HD.

From the design point of view, the iPod Touch 4G keeps largely the same lines present in the old versions, with the back made of alloy to avoid possible problems. As the one who made the video clip says, the iPod Touch 4G is as fast as the iPhone 4, and this is normal because both devices have the A4 chip with a 1Ghz processor, but it is possible that the iPod Touch 4G it only has 256MB of RAM compared to the 512 that the iPhone has.

Yesterday I said that the iPod Touch 4G seems to be a better choice than the iPhone 4, but today I come back and say that the iPhone 4 is still worth buying because the "cons" of the new iPod Touch make it impossible to keep the previous recommendation.
