Exactly one week after iOS 4.2 GM was released to iOS application developers, Apple publishes a new message in the dev center reminding developers that they must update their applications for the new software version. Considering that the message came exactly one week after the release of the GM, I think that the final version of iOS 4.2 could be released approximately another week after the publication of this message.
When I initially talked about the release of iOS 4.2, I specified that the new software version could actually be released 2 weeks from that date, and here I may be right.
