With the new version of iOS 4.3, Apple announced to application developers that the gestures multitouch presented in beta version 1 will not be available for iPad in the final version of iOS 4.3. These gestures were inserted only for the developers to test them and nothing more, so don't get used to them because they will be removed.
This beta release contains a preview of new multitasking gestures for iPad. You can use four or five fingers to pinch the Home Screen, swipe up to reveal the multitasking bar, and swipe left or right between apps. This feature will not be enabled in iOS 4.3 for customers, but we are providing this preview to gather input on how these gestures work with your apps.
UPDATED: It seems that these gestures do not work so well with existing applications, so Apple decided to postpone their implementation until the release of iOS 5.
