Apple conference on February 2, The Daily officially launched, why are we interested?

The Daily publication is the first digital magazine made by Apple in collaboration with another company and launched exclusively for the iPad tablet. The Daily will not be available online on any website or physically in any store, but only through the application specially made by Apple. The Daily will cost $0.99 per week, will be available only in the US and will present news that interests (mostly) only Americans.

Considering the above, why are we interested in The Daily? Well, we are interested because Apple would launch a subscription system and this subscription system could be launched together with a new version of iOS, or at least that's what the rumors related to The Daily publication claim. Considering that Apple is testing iOS 4.3 these days, we think that on February 2 Apple could launch The Daily together with iOS 4.3. Before we consider this possibility, we must take into account the fact that Apple releases a GM version of iOS before the publication of an important update for the operating system, and the GM version usually appears 2 weeks before the official launch. Apple has not released the GM version of iOS 4.3, so it is hard to believe that we will see this version of iOS available on February 2nd. I personally think that Apple will release iOS 4.2.5 for iPhone 4 CDMA on February 3 and will unify the devices in iOS 4.3 which will be available either in February or in March.

Another reason why we would not be able to see iOS 4.3 released on February 2 has in the center Eddy Cue, the vice president of the Internet services department at Apple. There is a chance that Apple will launch this new subscription system through services provided by Apple servers and not by iOS, so it would not be necessary to launch a new version of the operating system.

Until then, we are waiting for February 2 and the conference for the launch of The Daily. I don't think it will be broadcast live anywhere.
