For several days on the discussion forums of the Apple company, more and more owners of iPad 2 CDMA tablets are complaining that they have problems with connecting to the 3G network. Apparently the iPad 2 tablet connects to the Verizon network, but if users disable the data network and reactivate it, the tablet refuses to connect to the network until it is reset. The problem affects quite a lot of people and it is not the only one because some users reported that the tablet was connecting to the Verizon network in Roaming as if it were in another country. I can confirm that there are problems with reconnecting to the network after activating Airplane mode, I also experience it every time, but for me the reconnection is done after a few minutes of searching.
"We are aware that a small number of iPad 2 customers have experienced connectivity issues with the Verizon 3G network and we are investigating it," the company said in a statement to Mobilized. A Verizon representative did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
It is interesting that Apple has recognized that the problem exists and that it is working on solving it, so what I said here about the release of iOS 4.3.2 is true because Apple will not wait until June to solve this problem. So, we were expecting iOS 4.3.2 for all devices.
