iOS 5 allows exporting video content in 1080p format, iPhone 5 with 8 megapixel camera?

As usual, beta versions of iOS offer us clues regarding the possible future functions on our terminals and a few days ago we learned that Apple intends to implement a function that would allow users to take panoramic pictures. Now in the same iOS 5 system files, references have been discovered that indicate that we will be able to export video content in 1080p format. None of the current iDevices has a camera capable of shooting at 1080p resolution, but in recent months there have been several rumors indicating that the iPhone 5 would have an 8-megapixel camera capable of shooting in 1080p format.

An 8 megapixel camera and the ability to record video in 1080p format is the next logical step that Apple should take in terms of improving the camera in the iPhone. Each iPhone model came with a better camera, but at the moment the iPhone 4 has the most popular camera for smartphones, so it is possible that the future iPhone model will only bring the ability to film in 1080p format and not necessarily a 8 megapixel camera. Regardless of what Apple decides, we know that at the moment Cupertino is "exploring" the possibility of exporting the video content from the iPhone in 1080p format.
