Vodafone announced the official launch of the iPad 2 tablet in Romania, Orange and Cosmote they will probably do it during the day and from tomorrow at 18:00 the tablet will be available for purchase in certain stores in the country. You probably imagine that you can go to a store of your mobile phone operator and buy the iPad 2 tablet directly from there at a subsidized price, right? Well no, things will be different, the tablet will first be available only through retailers' stores in Romania and only then will it be available for purchase from operators' stores. When will it reach operators? It's hard to say, but for now you can't buy it from them.
The tablet will be available in many stores in the country, I will publish a list of them immediately, but for now I only found out that the operators will not sell it for a period of time. Vodafone did not mention in its press release that it will sell the iPad 2 in Romania, and if the information I received is confirmed, then you will only be able to purchase the iPad 2 at full price in Romania.
